Roxana is a photographer and works as the director of photography in short and feature films. Her own works focus on how to create movement in the still image and how to use effects of photography, such as long-time exposure, in the film works. The combination of movement and light in connection with the structure of bodies and the architecture of places is an ongoing interest, which she often explores through 16mm film material. Time lived in Vancouver, Buenos Aires and Southeast Asia has inspired works on darkness, fears, dreams and religion. After finishing her Bachelor in Fine Arts (Film) in Hamburg she is currently based in Copenhagen, where she studies cinematography at the Danish Film School.
