Tamara Knapp

Tamara is a multidisciplinary-graphic-designer from Weimar where she also completed her bachelor's and master's degree in Visual Communications at Bauhaus-University. Before moving to Weimar she trained as a photographer in Heidelberg.
In her work, Tamara attaches great importance to interdisciplinarity, so that often subject-related disciplines such as typography, graphic and editorial design focus on thematic blocks from scientific disciplines such as media informatics, as well as the humanities and social sciences. She seeks her vocation in the creation and documentation of new aspects in the fields of visual research. In general she likes to draw her inspiration from inconspicuous, everyday materials and her soft spot for the intangible.
